MASSOGA® RETREATS
Retreat packages include the following;

Accommodation in the retreat location for the duration of the retreat.

3 or more Massoga® Massage Yoga practices, depending on the length of the retreat, please see schedule for your chosen dates and location. Massoga® is a restorative yin yoga combined with massage.

3 or more Daily Slow Yoga, depending on the length of the retreat, please see schedule for your chosen dates and location. Slow Yoga is similar to a Hatha practice to challenge the body gently with movement. Strength and conditioning offered with modifications, and no yoga experience necessary.

3 or more Mindful Meditation, depending on the length of the retreat, please see schedule for your chosen dates and location. Mindful Meditation is a seated practice to encourage clarity, awareness and presence.

Welcome drink (non-alcoholic)

2 main meals and snacks prepared by our in-house private chef.

Water, tea, coffee and snacks served throughout the day

Free transfers to the retreat location from the local train station or ferry terminal

WIFI connection

2 or more Specialised workshops, depending on the length of the retreat, please see schedule for your chosen dates and location.

Pre and post retreat support from our team. This includes access to recorded content to help you build a consistent and sustainable movement and mindfulness practice through WhatsApp and on www.forme.yoga
Retreat packages include the following;

International or domestic Flights to/within Australia, taxes, airport transfers, or other travel costs outside of the specified inclusions.

Travel Insurance.

Any medical expenses that occur on, before or after retreat.

Alcoholic beverages requested or supplied on the retreat.

Additional private treatments including; massage, facial, yoga, acupuncture, other body work. Such treatments can be booked separately.
Booking Process and Requirements

By placing your booking for our Retreats either online, in studio, by email or by telephone, you accept and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

A booking at Massoga® Pty Ltd (Massoga®) retreat is confirmed when your deposit (as advised) is paid. Deposit payments for retreat are non-refundable.

Guests must obtain full travel insurance within 14 days of booking the retreat covering all medical expenses, retreat activities and a trip cancellation policy in the unlikely event that the retreat is cancelled or in case of a personal emergency that will prevent you from attending.

Every guest must provide Massoga® with full insurance details at the time of final payment.

Guests must be at least 18 years of age to attend a Massoga® retreat. Guests under 18 may be allowed to attend provided they are accompanied by a guardian 18+ years old and are approved by Massoga® prior to booking.

It is the Guest’s responsibility to:
(a) make arrangements and pay for travel to and from our Retreat locations;
(b) ensure that you have a valid passport, visa and re-entry permits which meet the requirements of the immigration and other government authorities in the Retreat locations (‘Travel Documents’), in the case of overseas travel Retreats.

By making a Retreat booking with us you warrant that you have all Travel Documents required to attend the Retreat.

Massoga® may update these terms and conditions from time to time. The most up to date version of these terms will always apply. Copies of the current version of these terms are available on our website.
Payment Policy

Payment must be received in full and must be made at least 90 days prior to the retreat commencement. If the retreat commencement date is less than 90 days away, full payment is required to secure the booking.

If payment of the balance is not received by the due date Massoga® reserves the right to cancel the reservation and retain the deposit.

The guest is responsible to pay for all extra services not included in the selected retreat package. This includes flights, transfers, travel insurance and any sightseeing activities that are not part of the retreat program.

Payment by credit card incurs a 2-4% service fee.
-
Payments for your retreat are fully transferable to an alternative retreat date with at least 90 days notice prior to your retreat date.
Cancellation Policy – Guest and Massoga®
It is the responsibility of the guest to read and understand our cancellation policy before making a reservation.

In the event of cancellation by the guest, regardless of the circumstances, the following refund fees, minus the deposit, apply.
– The deposit is non-refundable but may be transferred to another retreat or to a friend if 90 days notice is given, prior to Retreat start date.
– Cancellation 90 days or less before due arrival date, 0% refund
– Cancellation more than 90 days before due arrival date, 50% refund,
– Cancellation more than 90 days before due arrival date, %100 refund excluding the deposit, if your place is able to be filled. -
We do not offer credit for a guest arriving late or leaving early. This includes unforeseen issues such as family-related illness, or COVID diagnosis.

While Massoga® Pty. Ltd. will endeavour to maintain the retreat package as advertised, Massoga® reserves the right to change the location of the retreat due to unforeseen issues outside of the organiser’s control (e.g. third-party delays or problems, construction, etc) and retains the right to make any room, date, location, and or schedule changes with limited notice. If such an event arises, will ensure the standard be kept the same in all the partnering villas/resorts.

Massoga® may cancel the Retreat if a minimum quota of attendees has not been reached within 60 days prior to Retreat start date.

Massoga® is not responsible for any expenses incurred in preparation for any cancelled Retreat, such as airline tickets, loss of work, and/or other costs associated with preparation for your trip. It is imperative to get travel insurance at the earliest opportunity.

Massoga® reserves the right to change or amend this policy at any time. The current policy is always applicable.
Guest Health

Upon each booking of a Retreat, and each time you attend one of our retreats and participate in retreat classes, you warrant that:
(a) you are in good medical and physical condition; and
(b) there is no reason, medical or otherwise, why you should not participate in the classes.

We reserve the right to refuse you from participation in a retreat or from parts of a retreat or retreat classes, whether you have paid in advance for the Retreat, or not, if we:
(a) perceive a reasonable risk of injury to you or any other person due to your participation; or (b) perceive that you have an infection, contagious illness, physical ailment or open cut or sore; or
(c) determine that your behaviour is disruptive to other students and the overall Retreat experience.

In the event of contracting Covid-19 within 5 days of your retreat date, you will not be able to attend the retreat. We will endeavour to transfer you to an alternative retreat date. Medical proof of your covid status is required.
Liability

Massoga® shall not be liable for any unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond our normal control, which the consequences of could not have been avoided even when exercising all due care. Such circumstances or events include, but are not limited to, pandemic outbreak, war or threat of war, riot, civil unrest, industrial disputes or strikes, accidents or failure to perform by third parties, including suppliers and subcontractors, unavoidable technical problems with the accommodation, transport or closure or congestion of airports, terrorist activity, natural disasters, industrial disasters, fire, theft, flooding and adverse weather conditions. In the event of any the above, refunds and compensation payments cannot be made.

Massoga® accepts no liability for loss, damage, injury or illnesses which may be received during the guest’s stay or travelling to and from Massoga® retreats. All guests must take responsibility for their own medical and physical fitness and able to use our facilities and participate in activities.

Massoga® is not liable for any injuries or losses to guests, in the use of retreat facilities or participation in activities.

While all care is taken, Massoga® cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage of personal possessions or valuables of guests.

All guests must take responsibility for their own medical and physical fitness and ability to use retreat facilities and participate in activities.
Personal Conduct

As a retreat participant, you agree to conduct yourself with personal responsibility and at the Retreat;
-
Should you engage in inappropriate, illegal, or disruptive behaviour (including but not limited to bullying, harassment, discrimination, unlawful, disrespectful or violent or intimidating behaviour) to any person (including but not limited to Massoga® staff, the local community other guests and participants) you will be asked to leave the Retreat at your own cost and no refund will be available.

During any “down/free time”, you are liable for the activities that you undertake and do so with the knowledge that Massoga® is not liable for your decisions;

Any intake of alcohol or legal / illegal drugs are done so at your own risk and Massoga® is not held liable for consequences arising out of your actions in this regard.
Data Use and Protection

By providing your Personal Information to us, you agree to our Privacy Policy.

The guest agrees that s/he may be photographed and/or filmed during her stay and/or activities in connection with the company, and also agrees that the company may use such recordings for promotion and/or advertising purposes without any prior consent.
